Finally

Sorry for the delay. I know it has been a couple of months since our last post, but we are staying very busy these days. Charlie is growing like crazy. He wiggles and squirms constantly. He now prefers to be on the floor playing or in his exersaucer, jumping up and down and pulling/pushing on anything that makes noise. He is also talking a lot more, in fact, it is constant noise coming from his mouth when he is not sleeping. Which brings me to the most exciting new accomplishment of The Charlie-Man... He now sleeps all night (most of the time) in his own crib!!! As many of you know, he slept in the swing in our room until he was 6 months old. While Jay was not quite ready for that change, Charlie proved that he was. He went for his six month checkup last week. He is now a solid 20 lbs and 26 in tall. His hair is starting to get thicker (thank goodness) and as white blond as ever. His eyes are also changing to a lighter shade of blue. He now sits upright like a big boy. He has mastered the art of rolling from one side of a room to the other to get to wherever he wants to be, and is starting to work on the crawling thing, but I think he still has a way to go before that happens. As for me, my new job is going well. I am starting to adjust to the many differences between a children's hospital and a children's floor of an adult hospital. Jay has settled into his job and returned to his over-achiever, work-aholic ways. Going in early and staying late most days. Nothing else too exciting to report. Enjoy the pictures (for those who have been harassing me daily to update)

A final farewell to the swing.

In the words of Matthew, "just playing"
